About the Journal
Management in Review is an inclusive and comprehensive publication that promotes and disseminates cutting-edge research in management. Its primary objective is establishing a strong connection between theoretical frameworks and practical applications.
Focus and Scope
The Journal welcomes submissions from a wide range of fields, including but not limited to:
- Marketing and organizational communication;
- Finance and financial management;
- Strategic management;
- Human resources management;
- Entrepreneurship and innovation;
- Production and operations management.
MiR is an Open Access Journal distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium for non-commercial use, provided the original author and source are credited.
The average time for article publication is approximately three months.
There are no fees for publishing papers.
Peer Review Process
Two reviewers blindly assess the articles submitted using a specific form that assesses formal, ethical, and content aspects.
The editorial team makes the final selection for publication.
The process begins by validating the alignment of the submitted work with MiR's central themes. The texts are also evaluated using anti-plagiarism software.
MiR's reviewers are associated with the Journal's publication areas. The assignment of reviewers to submit work is done in such a way as to align the content of the articles with the reviewers' areas of expertise. This work is the responsibility of the editor. After analyzing the reviewers' opinions, the editorial team decides whether to proceed. If it does, the reviewers' comments will be forwarded to the authors for correction. When the final version of the article is received, it is checked that the document complies with all the guidelines. If necessary, final corrections will be requested.
When the process is complete, the authors are notified by e-mail that their article has been accepted for publication in MiR. This is followed by the final stage of the process, publication.
A selected reviewer who does not feel qualified to review an article or is unavailable should notify the editor and request that they be removed from the review process.
Any article received for review must be treated as confidential.
The data or ideas processed and analyzed in the peer review process must be kept confidential and not used for personal gain.
Reviewers should not agree to review articles with conflicts of interest because of their collaboration or relationship with authors, companies, or institutions directly linked to the research.
Archiving policy
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration
